Orbital rule 19: D.D. of very large mass in child's orbit

These lesions can be classified into two groups according to presence or absence of globe


If the globe can be identify:
Causes:
-Lymphangioma.
-Capillary hemangioma.
-Hemangiopericytoma.
-Plexiform neurofibroma.

If the globe cannot be identified:
Should be considered retinoblastoma until prove otherwise
