Temporal bone rule 3 : Malignant otitis media

1-It is a clinical condition characterized by aggressive infection of the external ear canal.
2-Should be almost always present in diabetic patient.
3-Then, elderly and immune-compromised patient.
4-Appears as a soft tissue mass at the external ear with bone destruction and could be extend to middle ear,     mastoid and intra cranially.
