Temporal bone rule 11 : Cholesterol granuloma

1-Appears as a cyst in the petrous apex.
2-Shows bright signal in T1 and T2 images(due to high cholesterol content).

T1 MRI image shows a hyper intense mass in the right cerebello pontine angle.
