Sella rule 1:Prolactin levels in case of pituitary adenoma.

Normal serum prolactin level is < 20 ng/ml.
If exceeding 150 ng/ml, denote presence of pituitary adenoma.
If exceeding 1000 ng/ml, denote presence of pituitary adenoma invasion of cavernous sinus.
