Peritoneal and omental rule 6: TB. Peritonitis

-Types of TB. peritonitis.
Wet type: in the form of ascites.
Fibrotic type: Large omental mesenteric masses could give rise to appearance of omental cake.
Dry type: Diffuse fibrous peritoneal thickening.
To diagnose TB. peritonitis, you must observe enlarged mesenteric or mediastinal lymph nodes with calcification, otherwise you cannot confirm.
-T.B. Signs in Abdomen and Chest:
Splenic calcification.
Calcified miliary shadows in the lung.
Mediastinal and mesenteric calcified lymph nodes.
