¨Pancreatic duct
¨Normal diameter 3 mm in head and tapered toward tail
¨Normal duct is seen with HR CT in 70% of cases
¨The degree of duct dilatation and mural irregularities are unreliable in differentiating chronic pancreatitis from pancreatic cancer
¨When you find intra-hepatic biliary dilatation through out the liver, go down to common bile duct , if it is also dilated , go further down to pancreas where you have 3 options , presence of pancreatic mass , stone or ampullary carcinoma
